Modern-minimalist creations, with brightness and purpose… That’s all you will find at Atelier79, the french-armenian fine jewelry studio combining modern french aesthetic with ancient armenian craftsmanship. Behind Atelier79 stands two women, sisters as a matter of fact, Tatev and Emma Petrossian, second generation French-Armenian fine jewelry entrepreneurs. While growing up in the family atelier of their father, specialized in heraldry engravings in the French Riviera, Tatev and Emma started their professional life miles away from jewelry, one in strategy and investment consulting and the other in public innovation. Affected by both the Covid pandemic and the war in Armenia in 2020, their passion for jewelry led them to merge their complementary knowledge in Design-Thinking to create in 2022 their own brand: Atelier79. The brand focuses on solid upcycled gold and diamonds exclusive creations, while giving the possibility to its customers to directly order 14K/18K upcycled gold and White/Yellow gold at purchase through their website. Atelier79 has, to this day, already launched three flagship collections: ‘ALMAST’ (Rough diamond, in Armenian), ‘TETHYS’ (in honour of the Greek titan goddess of nurturing waters, Tethys) and the last one ‘AMOUR’ (Love in French). Their unique catalogue gathers all sort of pieces from rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces, all lifted up by the house special signature.
