Modini
From a gold thread, Modini reveals itself. The story of my family, of a jewellery tradition, a know-how that unites the quintessence of the Veneto and French elegance. In the beginning, there is my grandmother, Alice Dini. A blue and sweet gaze, it is with her that this story finds its origin.Italian and passionate about jewellery and craftsmanship, she instilled in my father her greatest passions: jewellery and goldsmithing. Admiring this jewellery tradition since my youth, and following in the steps of my father, artistic director of Chaumet, it made sense for me to take up the torch of this family passion. After many years of studying gemmology, and sketching the craziest jewels, it was my turn to launch myself. Today, I present you my jewellery collections.Collections full of memories, timeless and contemporary, but above all exclusive collections, imagined, sketched and gouache painted in my Parisian workshop. I draw my inspiration from my family, my grandparents, my parents, but also my children, which brings to my designs a modern breath that crosses time. It is a need for me to design jewellery, I love to create, even if many sketches never see the light of day. The name MODINI was chosen during a Sunday dinner with my children. I had many names in mind, but none of them really represented what I wanted to translate into my new jewellery journey. It was during a happy and agitated family debate that Raphaël, my youngest son, had the idea of combining his great-grandmother's name with mine, making the story that I am unveiling today, so intimate and personal.
