Born and raised in Tokyo, designer Mizuki Shinkai trained at a professional metal craft school and worked for various jewelry companies before launching his own brand in 2013.He creates pieces with delicate textures using sophisticated metalworking techniques and innovative concepts that resonate with the wearer. His favorite material is pearls, which he refers to as "the living gem." Shinkai brings out the individuality in each baroque pearl and transforms it into jewelry that feels as it should be.In all his pieces, you will find a sense of dignity and strength, along with a soft and pleasant feel that is comfortable and personal despite being made of hard metal.
