Founded by Antonia and Simon – architects, life partners, and creative collaborators – SIAN transforms architectural principles into algorithmically generated jewellery. Merging digital precision with artisanal craftsmanship, the brand redefines the relationship between form, technology, and aesthetics.
Driven by a fascination with mathematical geometries and minimal design, SIAN combines modern fabrication techniques with traditional goldsmithing. What began as a creative experiment soon evolved into a deep exploration of contemporary fine jewellery.
Inspired by nature and geometry, the brand creates timeless pieces that cannot be produced through conventional methods. The collections, primarily crafted from 18-karat gold, feature smooth surfaces, pure shapes, and complex double-curved geometries. SIAN’s signature lies in the balance between simplicity and structural intricacy.
Each piece begins with a custom computer algorithm that defines all geometric relationships within the design. This approach allows for the rapid exploration of variations while ensuring perfect precision in the final form. The resulting digital model is 3D-printed in wax, layer by layer, using a process known as lost-wax casting. The wax is replaced by molten precious metal and then destroyed, making each piece unique. After casting, each piece is meticulously finished by hand, giving it a unique, tactile surface.
Designed and produced entirely in Germany, SIAN jewellery is available through the brand’s online store and select retail partners.
Beyond design, SIAN is committed to giving back: 1.5% of every sale is donated to Münchner Tafel, a local nonprofit providing food to people in need.
