"The Earth has much more to offer than diamonds!"Pierre, the founder of the brand, demonstrates it by highlighting the uniqueness of sleeping gemstones through coloured and ast(ounding)onishing jewellery that one can wear on a daily basis. His unique models ornamented with natural and coloured gems transgress established jewellery codes. It is no coincidence that the designer chose bright and glistening tones as the starting point of his brand. His taste for sleeping gemstones came from childhood, when he used to delve for hours into colourful gems. By taking advantage of the stock of sleeping gemstones stored in the family home, he shaped his first compositions. In order to design the first Studio 28 collection some years later, it is only natural that Pierre turned to these treasures that lied dormant. Studio 28’s uniqueness became its flagship. The jewels are thought out to be discreet ornaments that catch light. Their sober and refined lines allow to bring all the attention to the infinite rainbow shades of the gemstones. They brighten up settings with deliberately plain curves shaped in 18K recycled gold. Every Studio 28’s piece was handcrafted in a family workshop in Lyon (France) and it bears the mark of traditional French jewellery expertise.
