SOL joaillerie
Founded by French gemologist and designer Julie Sanguignol, SOL Joaillerie is a fine jewelry brand born from a lifetime of artistic influence, travel, and an intimate connection with rare gemstones. Raised in southern France by an artist mother and a father who designed his own jewelry, Julie’s path was illuminated by creativity and craftsmanship.
After enriching studies in Paris, New York, Buenos Aires, and Barcelona, Julie deepened her knowledge at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in New York’s famed Diamond District. There, she specialized in diamonds and colored stones—developing a profound respect for the natural rarity and uniqueness of gems. Inspired by years spent sourcing exceptional stones for Place Vendôme jewelers, she began to dream of her own collection.
That dream became SOL in 2020. Designed between France and Portugal, and crafted in small ateliers across both countries, SOL reflects Julie’s deep appreciation for natural materials and ethical practices. The brand works exclusively with recycled gold and responsibly sourced stones, honoring the Kimberley Process and reimagining forgotten jewels into contemporary heirlooms.
