At BOLTENSTERN, we combine cutting-edge technology with experience in finest craftsmanship to create visionary pieces of affectionate sinuousness, made from 18K gold, colored gemstones and diamonds. Our signature is the caressing touch of all our pieces, adapting to the wearer like a second skin with light and airy movement. One remarkable detail of our collections is the setting of our gemstones – they are directly set into the shapes, sometimes freely moving, or simply becoming one with the shape, with no traditional setting to hold them, adding a completely new way of shininess or color to the pieces. We encode our designs using specially developed algorithms which are then manufactured using specialized 3D printing technology. Our creations are coded by hand and crafted by technology - their intricate complexity cannot be crafted by human hand alone. The designs are inspired by the mathematics of nature, such as the growth pattern of flower leaves. The brand was founded in 1964 by Marie’s father, Sven Boltenstern, an artist and goldsmith, who was renowned for virtuously creating collections for the jet-set of the 60s and 70s. We work towards the vision is to create a sustainable value chain through innovation, using technology to offer personal and unique experiences. We focus on ethical sourcing, working solely with recycled metals and other recyclable materials, partnering with certified European partners only and finishing all products in the traditional in-house goldsmith workshop.
