STÉPHANIE SURER
For Stéphanie Surer, every piece of fine jewelry begins with an intimate story.
In her Paris showroom, a French and international clientele entrusts her with a memory, an emotion, an inner strength seeking form. From this invisible material, a jewel slowly takes shape, at times unique, at times part of a limited edition. She calls them compass jewels: pieces designed to accompany, to reassure, to anchor what matters.
A former advertising art director, Stéphanie brought to haute joaillerie an instinct already honed for narrative and for the power of a single detail. Where once she shaped stories through images, she now reveals them in gold and stone. She is drawn to the infinitely small: the idea that a piece held in one's palm can contain a whole life.
Her collections are themselves born of quiet encounters: a perforated leaf gathered on a walk, lent to the lace of a ring; fabrics found in travel, translated into the woven motifs of the Tissée collection; treasures shaped by the sea, reimagined in Galets and Coquillage. Gou:es de Rosée explores movement and grace through fluid forms and luminous stones. Running through her work is a solar thread of yellow diamonds, rare and warm. They embody the light she seeks to reveal in those who confide in her.
Stéphanie's jewels are made and found only in Paris, crafted by hand in close collaboration with local high jewelry atelier. She also conceives exclusive capsule collections for selected galleries and partner boutiques, each shaped by the spirit of a place. For collectors and curators of singular pieces, her work honours a quiet conviction: a jewel is a fragment of life that speaks most truly when worn close to the skin that inspired it.
